This fall, Saks Fifth Avenue is making a grand statement with diamonds. But not just any diamonds – we're talking about some of the largest and rarest yellow and colorless gemstones on the market, showcased in Saks' inaugural high jewelry collection with stunning effect.
Launched on August 26, the collection features over 200 oversized diamond pieces, ranging from single-stone rings weighing over 100 carats to carat-heavy, mixed-cut tennis necklaces. Saks is also offering custom services, allowing clients to create their unique jewelry pieces.
“Saks Fifth Avenue has always been regarded as the destination for jewelry,” Saks' Chief Marketing Officer Tracy Margolies told AIDI. “Our launch of this high jewelry collection further reflects our commitment to offering exceptional quality and inspiring our customers through highly personalized experiences. Luxury clients are continuously seeking timeless and unique jewelry pieces, and we look forward to delighting them with Saks Fifth Avenue's modern take on high jewelry and our service-first approach to this emerging category.”
The collection taps into several top trends, even if describing multi-million-dollar diamond jewelry as “fashionable” seems somewhat understated. The lineup features various tennis styles, including necklaces and bracelets; a chic collar composed of cushion-cut diamonds set in gold and covered with black enamel (pictured below); a series of mixed-cut jewelry; and a plethora of heart-shaped pieces.
One of our personal favorites is the 18k gold cuff necklace, set with over 16 carats of cushion-cut yellow diamonds, as shown below. Diamonds – but make it fashion!
