Celine Assimon to Depart as CEO of De Beers Jewellers
After nearly five successful years leading De Beers’ jewelry division, CEO Celine Assimon will step down from her position at the end of this month.
Assimon joined De Beers Jewellers in 2020 from Swiss luxury brand De Grisogono and quickly made her mark. Within a year, she expanded her responsibilities to become CEO of De Beers’ Forevermark label, holding both roles until March of last year.
Throughout her tenure, Assimon was instrumental in repositioning De Beers Jewellers as a high-end, design-focused luxury brand, significantly boosting its global profile. Reflecting on her time at De Beers on her LinkedIn page, Assimon expressed immense pride in the recent rebranding of De Beers London and the launch of its latest campaign, viewing these as highlights of her leadership.
A spokesperson for De Beers confirmed the search for Assimon’s successor is currently underway.
