Lisa Valenzuela, founder of Truly Blessed Jewels, has opened the brand’s second store in her hometown of Newport Beach, California, marking a return to her roots and a milestone in her journey as a self-taught jewelry designer.
A Boutique with Personality
The new store, located at 216 Marine Ave., offers a blend of Valenzuela’s signature “California girl meets desert goddess” style. Features include:
- On-site engraving and piercing services.
- A charm bar stocked with customizable options.
- Stations for the increasingly popular permanent jewelry, which has become a significant part of the brand’s business.
The boutique’s design reflects its coastal location with light tones, wood accents, and plush furnishings. “We wanted to create a space that feels organic and oceanside while being playful and comfortable,” Valenzuela explains.
A Community-Centered Vision
Customer experience is key to Valenzuela’s philosophy. “We focus on making everyone feel welcome and valued,” she says. “Whether they’re locals or weekend tourists, we want them to leave with a memorable experience and come back again.”
Valenzuela started hosting pop-ups in Newport Beach during family visits, where she saw firsthand the potential of the area’s mix of tourists and residents. This expansion comes after the success of the brand’s first location in Scottsdale, Arizona.
A Sparkling Evolution
Founded in 2012, Truly Blessed Jewels has grown exponentially, thanks in part to the viral success of its forever bracelets. A social media post of a couple getting matching bracelets turned into a wave of appointment bookings.
“I never expected the brand to grow this fast,” Valenzuela admits. “But I’ve always designed with passion, letting the materials guide me.”
What’s Next?
With plans for additional locations in 2025 and beyond, Valenzuela envisions expanding Truly Blessed Jewels while maintaining its signature charm. “Jewelry should be personal, playful, and completely unique,” she advises her customers. “Don’t be afraid to wear exactly what makes you happy.”
