
The 51st India Gem and Jewellery Awards (IGJA), hosted by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), celebrated the outstanding contributions of India’s leading jewelry exporters in a grand ceremony held in Jaipur on December 2, 2024.
Honoring Excellence Across Categories
This year’s awards recognized excellence in 24 categories, including:
- 14 Industry Performance Awards.
- 7 Special Recognition Awards.
- 2 Commendation Awards.
- 1 Award for Banks Supporting the Gems and Jewelry Sector.
The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Pramod Agrawal, Chairman of Derewala Industries Ltd, by none other than Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group. The event was attended by top industry leaders, including Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, Sachin Jain, CEO of the World Gold Council India, and Gopal Kumar, Director and General Manager of Gemfields India Pvt Ltd.
