The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) has appointed Liz Fraccaro as its new assistant counsel. Fraccaro, who previously served as a legal consultant for the Antiquities Coalition, led initiatives on combating financial crimes in the art and antiquities sector. She became a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist in 2024.
With a background in anthropology, English literature, Mediterranean archaeology, and law, Fraccaro is well-prepared for her new role. At JVC, she will handle anti-money laundering regulations, sanctions compliance, and provide legal guidance to members. Sara Yood, former assistant counsel, now serves as JVC’s president and general counsel.
