The Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association (IDCA) has appointed Manoj Bhandari, a principal at RMC Gems, as its new president. The decision was made at the association’s board meeting held in New York City on December 6, 2024.
Bhandari succeeds Haridas Kotahwala, the head of Royal India and a founding member of IDCA, who served as president throughout 2024.
A New Leadership Team for 2025
The IDCA also announced other key leadership appointments:
- Kunal Shah of Pristine Gems: Vice President.
- Shekhar Shah of Real Gems: Secretary.
- Vishal Shah of Renaissance Jewelry New York: Treasurer.
- Jay Mehta of Disons Gems: Acting Joint Secretary.
Additionally, the board elected the following members:
- Vineet Bokaria, Niru NY.
- Yatish Dangayach, Color Jewels.
- Parag Jain, Paramount Gems.
- Ajay Javeri, Diamour.
- Vishal Kotahwala, Royal India USA.
- Saumil Parikh, Renaissance Diamonds/American Originals.

As the IDCA transitions into its new leadership, the association continues its mission to promote the interests of the Indian diamond and colorstone industry in the United States. With an experienced team at the helm, 2025 promises to bring exciting opportunities and growth for its members.
